WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
At TT Lashes, we use faux mink lashes, which are a single strand curved eyelash extensions to replicate your natural eyelashes. The eyelash extensions are applied one at a time. One eyelash extension to one of your natural eyelashes and bonded with glue.
HOW LONG WILL MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
If they are properly applied and cared for, eyelash extensions can last up to 4-5 weeks. Touch-ups are recommended every 2-4 weeks because your natural eyelashes will shed (cycle out).
CAN I WEAR MASCARA WITH EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Mascara is typically not needed with eyelash extensions that have been applied properly. However, if you would like to achieve a more bold dramatic look, you can apply water-based mascara. Frequent use of mascara on eyelash extensions will shorten their lifespan. Waterproof mascara is NOT recommended and will dissolve the bond agent applied to your natural eyelashes.
DO YOU COUNT EYELASHES?
No, unlike most establishments, we do not count eyelashes and/or charge per eyelash. We work with you to create the fullness you desire.
DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
When applied properly eyelash extensions will not harm your natural eyelashes. Our techniques allow for optimal growth and health of your natural eyelashes. We make sure to separate each and every eyelash so that over time the eyelash extensions will grow and shed undisturbed.
WHY DO I LOSE SOME OF MY EYELASHES?
Your natural eyelashes typically shed every 60-90 days; this is also referred to as the "natural growth cycle". To maintain the full/thick appearance of a new set of eyelash extensions, a touch-up is recommended every 2-4 weeks based on your natural eyelash growth cycle and extension preference. Please see the aftercare section on how to properly care for your eyelash extensions to maximize their longevity.

Your first appointment may take up to 120 minutes but varies based on each client.

MYTH: eyelash extensions damage your natural eyelashes?
FACT: when applied correctly; one extension of proper length & volume to one single, isolated natural eyelash...they shouldn't cause damage
MYTH: Anyone who has been trained to do lashes, can do them?
FACT: Training is just the beginning of an Eyelash Artist career. It takes lots of practice, patience & dedication to become a great Eyelash Artist
MYTH: Eyelash extensions hurt?
FACT: When they're applied correctly, you should barely even feel the eyelash extensions being applied.
MYTH: You can have your eyelash extensions as long or as think as you want them?
FACT: The length & thickness of eyelash extensions should be based on the look you're trying to achieve!
MYTH: Eyelash extensions can last up 6 weeks?
FACT: You shed up 5 natural lashes daily. After 2-3 weeks most people will shed enough for a fill.
MYTH: You can't wash your eyes with eyelash extensions?
FACT: NOT only can you wash your eyes, it is recommended you do so daily with an OIL FREE facial cleanser, lash shampoo, or even baby shampoo to keep your lash line healthy & clean.
